DISPOSITIVO PARA MONITORAR UMA FALHA EM UM ENVOLTÓRIO EXTERNO DE UM IMPLANTE DO PEITO DEPOIS DA COLOCAÇAO DO IMPLANTE EM UM USUARIO, APARELHO E MÉTODO DE MONITORAMENTO PAPA UMA FALHA EM UM IMPLANTE. A presente invenção envolve um dispositivo e um método que comunica, a um paciente e/ou profissionais da saúde, a falha, ruptura ou rompimento de uma barreira dentro de um implante. O dispositivo consiste em um sensor implantável e um mecanismo de alerta. O dispositivo pode incluir uma fonte de alimentação interna e pode empregar software para permitir a programação externa e/ou interrogação do dispositivo. O dispositivo também pode ser recarregado e/ou energizado através de uma fonte externa.
