Abstract
SISTEMA DE TAMPONAMENTO DE LINHA CRUZADA E TAMPÃO DE TRAVAMENTO. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para prover acesso ao interior de uma linha cruzada (18) que intercepta com um oleoduto primário (14) de diâmetro igual ou maior inclui as etapas de prender um encaixe derivado (22) no exterior do oleoduto primário, afixar uma válvula de abertura total no encaixe derivado, firmar uma máquina de rosquear a quente (46) na válvula (26) usando a máquina de rosquear a quente (46) para cortar uma abertura no oleoduto primário (14) de um diâmetro pelo menos igual ao diâmetro interno da linha cruzada (18) e remover a máquina deixando um acesso diametralmente através da válvula (24) e oleoduto primário (14) para o interior da linha cruzada (18) para instalar "PIGS" de limpeza ou inspeção de oleoduto (30) e/ou um tampão de fechamento (26). Um resistor de rotação (132) facilita a fixação de um tampão de fechamento (76) dentro do oleoduto (18).
