Abstract

São revelados peptídeos ciclizados em estrutura novos que são análogos de hormônio estimulador de amelanocortina (aMSH), tendo atividade agonista de receptor de melanocortina-4 aperfeiçoada. Os análogos de peptideo ciclizado de estrutura revelados possuem propriedades exclusivas e superiores em relação a outros análogos, como estabilidade metabólica, biodisponibilidade oral aumentada, permeabilidade intestinal aperfeiçoada e atividade farmacológica in vivo. São também reveladas composições farmacêuticas compreendendo os análLogos de aMSH ciclizados em estrutura, e métodos de utilizar tais composições para o tratamento de distúrbios metabólicos incluindo obesidade.
