Abstract
Os revestimentos de conversão e passivação e métodos para superfícies de metal tal como aço e alumínio são descrítos. As composições de revestimento compreendem uma solução aquosa de partículas de óxido de cério e/ou sílica e um composto de silano de ureido. Os métodos da invenção compreendem contatar a superfície de metal requerida com a composição de revestimento.
