Abstract
MÉTODO PARA ESTABILIZAR FIBRAS DE CELULOSE, ESPECIALMENTE DE UMA TRAMA TÊXTIL COMPREENDENDO FIBRAS DE CELULOSE. A invenção relaciona-se a um método para estabilizar fibras de celulose e/ou um material contendo fibras de celulose, especialmente de uma trama têxtil compreendendo fibras de celulose. O dito método é caracterizado pelo contato das fibras de celulose com uma solução de tratamento. A dita solução de tratamento compreende: (a) um componente de ligação com a água, (b) um agente de inchamento, e (c) água. O método de acordo com a invenção produz fibras de celulose que podem ser comparadas com, ou são mesmo superiores em termos de suas propriedades, aos resultados que são obtidas pelo tratamento convencional com amônia.
