Abstract
PROCESSO PARA PRODUÇÃO DE ÁCIDO DICARBOXILICO AROMÁTICO. Processos para produção de ácidos dicarboxílicos aromáticos são descritos, os processos incluindo a etapa de combinar em um meio de reação, uma dialquila aromática, um solvente compreendendo água e um ácido orgânico saturado tendo de 2 a 4 átomos de carbono, e um gás contendo oxigênio, a uma temperatura de cerca de 125 C a cerca de 155 C, na presença de uma composição de catalisador compreendendo cobalto, manganês, zircônio, e bromo, em que a relação de peso de cobalto para manganês na mistura da reação é de cerca de 10 a cerca de 400. Os processos provendo uma conversão melhorada, enquanto reduzem a formação de óxidos de carbono e outros subprodutos.
