Abstract
FORNO DE ARCO ELÉTRICO. A presente invenção se refere a um forno de arco elétrico (10) que possui uma armadura externa (12) e um revestimento refratário interno (24). Durante a sua operação, o forno de arco elétrico (10) contém um banho (28) de metal derretido que tem um nível mínimo e um nível máximo de operação (32). Um anel de refrigeração interior (23) de barras de cobre, que está em contato de condução térmica com o revestimento refratário interno (24) e é equipado com meios de refrigeração por pulverização (22), é montado na armadura externa (12) na região (34) entre o nível mínimo e o nível máximo de operação (32).
