Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO DE ACOPLAMENTO FLEXÍVEL". Descreve-se um dispositivo de acoplamento flexível que transmite torque entre dois eixos (1, 2) de maneira a permitir desalinhamentos radiais, axiais e angulares entre os ditos eixos (1, 2) evitando aplicação de esforços "colaterais" excessivos sobre os mesmos bem como transmissão de vibrações e choques, de maneira a garantir uma maior durabilidade dos equipamentos acoplados. Isso se deve ao emprego de um eixo flutuante (12) presente entre os eixos acoplados (1, 2) e conectado aos mesmos através das placas (10,11, 13,14) interligadas por elementos flexíveis (15, 16, 17, 18).
