Abstract
FATORES ÓTIMOS DE FORMA PARA IOL PARA OLHOS HUMANOS. A presente invenção refere-se a uma lente oftálmica ( por exemplo, uma lente intra-ocular) tendo uma ótica com uma superfície anterior e uma superfície posterior, que exibe um fator de forma (definido como uma razão da soma das curvaturas anterior e posterior para a diferença de tais curvaturas) em uma faixa de cerca de -0,5 a cerca de 4. Em uma aspecto relacionado, o fator de forma da ótica se situa em uma faixa de cerca de 0 a cerca de 2. Os fatores de forma acima ocasionam uma pluralidade de formas de lente diferentes, tais como côncava-convexa, plano-convexa e plano côncava.
