Abstract

DISPOSITIVO DE PROTEÇÃO PARA SOBRE-TENSÃO, E, MÉTODO PARA FORNECER PROTEÇÃO PARA SOBRE-TENSÃO. Um dispositivo de proteção para sobre-tensão inclui primeiro e segundo elementos de eletrodo eletricamente condutores, um elemento varistor formado de um material varistor e conectado eletricamente com cadaum dos primeiro e segundo elementos de eletrodo, e um elemento fundível elétricamente condutor. O elemento fundível responde a calor no dispositivo para fundir e formar um trajeto de escoamento de corrente entre os primeiro e segundo elementos de eletrodo através do elemento fundível.
