Abstract
COMPOSIÇÃO DE CUIDADO ORAL, E, MÉTODOS DE PREVENIR A FORMAÇÃO DE PLACA EM UMA SUPERFÍCIE ORAL EM UM INDIVÍDUO MAMÍFERO E DE MANTER A SAÚDE ORAL EM UM INDIVÍDUO MAMÍFERO. Uma composição anti-bacteriana e anti-inflamatória eficaz é provida tendo uma combinação de ingredientes ativos compreendendo um ou mais compostos ativos de um extrato de magnólia e um extrato de lúpulo. Preferivelmente, os compostos ativos do extrato de magnólia compreendem honoquiol e magnolol, e os compostos ativos do extrato de lúpulo compreendem beta-ácidos hexa-hidrogenados. A composição oral pode estar na forma de um colutório ou dentifrício, incluindo pasta de dentes, géis, pós, confeitos, pastilhas, produtos animais e outros. Os métodos de fabricar e usar a composição oral também são providos.
