Abstract
PROTETOR AURICULAR. É provido um dispositivo de proteção auricular incluindo um corpo de atenuação de som e uma unidade eletrônica tendo um microfone, um amplificador, e um alto-falante, onde a unidade eletrônica é ativada seletivamente e, quando ativada, recebe o som a partir de um meio ambiente, amplifica a faixa de freqúências do som recebido correspondendo à faixa de freqúências da fala humana, e varia a amplificação de tal modo que um nível total de som passando através do corpo e através da unidade eletrônica não excede um nível de som máximo predeterminado.
