Em algumas modalidades, as soluções da descrição são administradas a um mamífero em conjunto com um composto farmacêutico associado com neurotoxicidade periférica (por exemplo, cispíatina e/ou suramina) para reduzir ou eliminar o(s) efeito(s) neuropático(s).
