Abstract
MICROESFERAS DE VIDRO COM VÁRIAS INCLUÇÕES DE BOLHAS. A presente invenção refere-se a microesferas de vidro que contêm uma porcentagem substancial de esferas que possuem duas ou mais bolhas de gás opticamente visíveis por esfera fornecem um alto nível de branqueamento aos materiais compósitos contendo as mesmas. O volume das bolhas de gás fica entre 8 e 35 por cento do volume das esferas em média e as esferas exibem uma boa resistência à quebra após a exposição a altas pressões de forma que podem ser encontradas em processos de extrusão de polímeros. As esferas possuem um diâmetro mediano de partícula entre 5 e 100 m e pelo menos 10% em número das esferas incorporam pelo menos duas bolhas de gás.
