"PIRROLES BIS-INDOLE ÚTEIS COMO AGENTES ANTI-MICROBIAIS". São descritos compostos da Fórmula (I), comumente chamados de pirroles bis-indole, incluindo compostos isolados que ocorrem naturalmente, seus derivados sintéticos e semi-sintéticos tendo propriedades anti-microbiais, e composições anti-microbiais incluindo um ou mais pirroles bis-indole e seus derivados ou análogos tendo propriedades anti-microbiais. Composições farmacêuticas compreendendo tais compostos e métodos de tratamento de infecções bacterianas com os ditos compostos descritos ou com as ditas composições farmacêuticas também são descritos.
