Abstract
PROCESSO DE ESTERILIZAÇÃO DE RESÍDUOS DE SERVIÇOS DE SAÚDE POR INATIVAÇÃO TÉRMICA, TRITURAÇÃO E CONDENSAÇÃO DE VAPORES, é um processo que se apresenta alternativo a outras técnicas de esterilização porque não produz gases tóxicos e poluentes para o meio ambiente, o processo se baseia que primeiramente é necessário que os Resíduos de Serviços de Saúde sejam devem ser recolhidos em sacos plásticos. Os sacos com resíduos ( lixo hospitalar ) são colocados no triturador de lâminas, triturados e tratados termicamente à 200 ºC no minimo, para garantir a total esterilização do lixo. Os vapores produzidos são condensados e tratados com produtos antibactericidas.
