O rótulo é feito de uma folha de plástico transparente, parcialmente impressa. O rótulo é usado para selar o recipiente, preferivelmente uma caixa de papelão mostruário ou um pacote de cigarro. Um método de selagem de um recipiente de artigos fumáveis compreende aplicar um rótulo compreendendo uma folha de plástico transparente, parcialmente impressa sobre pelo menos uma porção de uma face de topo do recipiente.
