MÉTODO PARA APLICAR PARTÍCULAS POLIMÉRICAS CARREGADAS COM ÁGUA A UMA SUPERFÍCIE PARA EVITAR E/OU APAGAR UM INCÊNDIO Na prevenção do espalhamento de incêndio e para diretamente combater incêndio, um polímero de aditivo intumescível em água, reticulado, em uma dispersão de óleo vegetal é adicionado à água de combate de incêndio. O aditivo tem as propriedades de absorção de grandes quantidades de água, alta viscosidade para aderência em superfícies vertical e horizontal, e retenção de fluidez suficiente a ser eduzida em um equipamento de combate a incêndio padrão. O método de adição deste aditivo à água de combate de incêndio pela edução, bombeamento, ou adição em batelada à água de fonte é também descrito.
