Complexos de monociclopentadienila, em que o sistema ciclopentadienila contém pelo menos um doador em ponte e pelo menos um grupo arila e um sistema catalisador compreendendo pelo menos um dos complexos de monociclopentadienila e também processos para prepará-los, uso do sistema catalisador para a polimerização ou copolimerização de olefinas e um processo para preparar poliolefinas, pela polimerização ou copolimerização de olefinas, na presença do sistema catalisador e preparação do sistema ciclopentadienila associado.
