É fornecida uma película termoplástica respirável de camadas múltiplas que é uma barreira de líquidos e tem uma WVTR de pelo menos aproximadamente 300 g/m^ 2^/24 horas e inclui camadas exteriores que incluem entre aproximadamente 0,005 e aproximadamente 0,2% em peso de um poliorganossiloxano ou de uma mistura de poliorganossiloxanos.
