Abstract
"MÉTODO E SISTEMA PARA FACILITAR A ENTREGA ENTRE SISTEMAS". É descrito um método para facilitar a entrega entre sistemas por uma unidade de transmissão e recepção sem fio (WTRU) de múltiplos modos. A WTRU é capaz de comunicar-se em diversos sistemas de comunicação sem fio utilizando diferentes protocolos de comunicação sem fio. Primeiro sistema de comunicação sem fio fornece ponto quente dentro da área de cobertura de segundo sistema de comunicação sem fio. Uma estação base em uma célula no segundo sistema de comunicação sem fio gera e transmite mensagem para informar a WTRU sobre a existência do ponto quente localizado nas proximidades da célula. A WTRU recebe a mensagem e é, portanto, informada sobre a existência do ponto quente nas proximidades da célula.
