Abstract
"USO DE POLIMORFISMOS GENÉTICOS QUE SE ASSOCIAM A EFICÁCIA DE TRATAMENTO DE DOENÇA INFLAMATÓRIA". A presente invenção refere-se a região de MHC III do cromossoma 6p21.3 que abriga uma seqüência de DNA, mais provavelmente dentro do gene de TNF ou LTA, que influencia resposta a pimecrolimus para o tratamento de dermatite atópica. Correspondentemente, polimorfismos genéticos nos genes de TNF e LTA são úteis como biomarcadores da eficácia de tratamento com pimecrolimus de doença inflamatória. Por contraste com isso, resposta a tacrolimus parece ser influenciada por outras trajetórias biológicas.
