Abstract
"DISPOSITIVOS DE FIO DENTAL MOTORIZADOS, CABEÇOTE DE FIO DENTAL E RESPECTIVOS MÉTODOS DE LIMPEZA E PASSAGEM DE FIO DENTAL NOS DENTES, PARA REMOÇÃO DA PLACA E BIOFILME DA SUPERFÍCIE DOS DENTES". É provido um dispositivo de fio dental (10), que compreende um corpo alongado (12) e um cabeçote substituível de fio dental (18), fixado numa parte terminal (14) do corpo alongado (12). O cabeçote de fio dental (18) oscila de uma maneira rotativa ou arqueada um comprimento de material de fio dental (134) através da superfície dos dentes do usuário. Um motor acionado por pilha (48) gira um mecanismo de acionamento (50), que faz um movimento de vai-vem de uma maneira oscilatória. O mecanismo de acionamento (50) está acoplado a um disco (100), que oscila num movimento arqueado our rotativo. O disco (100) oscila num arco de aproximadamente sessenta graus. Um cabeçote de fio dental removível e substituível (18), tendo um comprimento de fio dental (134) que se estende entre dois dentes (128a, 128b), está acoplado de modo removível ao disco (100). De preferência, um contentor de pasta de dentes (136) também faz parte do cabeçote de fio dental (18).
