Abstract
"MÉTODO DE PRODUÇÃO DE ÉSTERES DE ALQUILA USANDO GLICERINA". Um método de preparação de ésteres de alquila, ou especificamente ésteres de metila, tais como biodiseis, a partir de uma fonte de óleo é descrito. O método envolve colocar em contato ácidos graxos livres de uma fonte de óleo em uma mistura de mono-, di-, e tri-glicerídeos e subseqüentemente transesterificar os glicerídeos recém formados assim como os originalmente presentes nos ésteres de alquila de ácido graxo.
