A presente invenção proporciona composições de polietileno-poliuretano dispersíveis em água (ou dispersões) apresentando um polímero de poliuretano sulfonato e um polímero de polietileno (segundo polímero). O polímero de poliuretano é um produto de reação de um poliisocianato, e um poliol sulfonado.
