"CO-ADMINISTRAÇÃO DE UM POLISSACARÍDEO COM UM AGENTE QUIMIOTERAPÊUTICO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE CÂNCER". São descritas aqui composições e métodos para tratar doenças tais como câncer. As composições compreendem um ou mais polissacarídeos em uma mistura com um ou mais agentes terapêuticos. Esta mistura pode ser administrada a um indivíduo em necessidade deste empregando-se qualquer método conhecido de administração. O agente terapêutico, se administrado sozinho, pode causar efeitos colaterais indesejáveis no indivíduo. O componente de polissacarídeo minimiza ou elimina estes efeitos colaterais. As composições aqui descritas exercem um efeito terapêutico realçado juntamente com toxidade reduzidas.
