Abstract
"ANÁLOGOS ANTAGONISTAS DO HORMÔNIO DE LIBERAÇÃO DO HORMÔNIO DO CRESCIMENTO (GH-RH)) (2003)". A invenção oferece uma nova série de análogos sintéticos antagonistas do hormônio de liberação do hormônio do crescimento humano (hGH-RH) (1-29) NH~ 2~. Esses análogos inibem a atividade do hormônio do crescimento humano (hGH-RH) endógeno nos receptores do hormônio de liberação do hormônio do crescimento (GH-RH)) da pituitária e dessa forma evitam a liberação do hormônio do crescimento. Os análogos também inibem a proliferação do câncer humano através de um efeito direto nas células cancerosas. A maior força inibidora dos novos análogos, quando comparados com os descritos anteriormente, resulta da substituição de vários aminoácidos.
