Abstract
"CARTUCHO DE COMBUSTÍVEL E VÁLVULA DE ESCAPE". É revelado um cartucho (10) conectável a uma célula de combustível. O cartucho compreende um invólucro externo (12) e um revestimento flexível interno (14) contendo combustível para a célula de combustível. O revestimento flexível interno (14) pode ter um inserto (38) disposto dentro do revestimento interior (14) para facilitar o transporte de combustível do cartucho (10) para a célula de combustível. O inserto (38) minimiza o combustível que está retido dentro do cartucho (10). O revestimento flexível interno (14) pode ser utilizado sem o invólucro externo (12) O invólucro externo (12) pode ser substancialmente rígido ou flexível. O cartucho (10) é também adaptável para receber subprodutos da célula de combustível. O cartucho (10) pode também ser pressurizado para empurrar combustível para a célula de combustível. Válvulas de escape unidirecionais (20, 74) também são apresentadas para evitar que a pressão interna no cartucho se torne demasiadamente alta ou demasiadamente baixa.
