Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR ORGANOHIDROGENSILOXANOS CÍCLICOS". Processo para preparar organohidrogensiloxanos cíclicos que compreende: (A) contactar um silano de fórmula RHSiCl~ 2~, onde R é selecionado de radicais alquila tendo 1 a 12 átomos de carbono e radicais arila, com água para formar um hidrolisado que compreende organohidrogensiloxanos cíclicos e organohidrogensiloxanos lineares, e (B) contactar o hidrolisado com um catalisador de redistribuição ácido na presença de um diluente líquido inerte para aumentar a relação dos organohidrogensiloxanos cíclicos para organohidrogensiloxanos lineares no hidrolisado. O catalisador de redistribuição ácido é um grupo de ácido forte contendo um composto orgânico, por exemplo, um ácido sulfônico, o qual é dissolvido no diluente líquido inerte presente.
