É apresentado o uso de composições cosméticas, compreendendo um agente de auto-bronzeamento à base de -hidróxi aldeído e um composto de vitamina B~ 3~ solúvel em água, como composições para auto-bronzeamento. As composições cosméticas são úteis para conferir um tom bronzeado natural, uniforme e duradouro à pele, quando aplicadas topicamente.
