"COMPOSIÇÕES E MÉTODOS PARA ESCURECER, E PARA CONFERIR PROPRIEDADES DE RESISTÊNCIA A CORROSÃO A ZINCO OU A OUTROS METAIS ATIVOS". São propostos processos e composições que servem tanto para escurecer uma superfície de zinco ou de outro metal ativo e para conferir a ela propriedades de resistência à corrosão. As composições incluem uma solução aquosa contendo aproximadamente 0,1 por cento a aproximadamente 5 por cento de cloreto de amônio e de aproximadamente 0,1 por cento a aproximadamente 5 por cento de molibdato de amônio. As composições utilizam relações específicas de concentrações de cloreto de amônio e molibdato de amônio.
