"DERIVADOS DE AZETIDINACARBOXAMIDA E SEU USO EM TERAPIA". A presente invenção refere-se a compostos da fórmula (I) e seu uso em terapia, particularmente para o tratamento de um distúrbio mediado por receptores de CB~ 1~: onde R^ 1^ e R^ 2^ são independentemente selecionados de arila; e R^ 3^ é hidrogênio ou alquila; ou um seu sal ou pró-droga farmaceuticamente aceitável, onde pelo menos um de R^ 1^ e R^ 2^ tem um substituinte não-hidrogênio na(s) sua(s) posição(ões) orto com relação ao ponto de ligação com o grupo [-CH-0-].
