"PÓS NANOPOROSOS ULTRAFINOS DE ALFA-ALUMINA E PROCESSO DE PREPARAÇÃO DOS MESMOS ATRAVÉS DE SECAGEM POR CONGELAMENTO". A presente invenção fornece pós nanoporosos de -alumina contendo partículas primárias de -alumina tendo um tamanho médio de partícula menor do que cerca de 100 nm e um arranjo interpenetrado por poros ou vazios. A invenção fornece também pós nanométricos de -alumina contendo partículas de -alumina tendo um tamanho médio de partícula menor do que cerca de 100 nm e lamas, particularmente lamas aquosas, que contêm os pós nanométricos de -alumina da invenção. A invenção fornece ainda métodos de fabricação de pós nanoporosos de -alumina e pós nanométricos de -alumina da invenção e métodos de polimento usando as lamas da invenção.
