A presente invenção apresenta uma composição que contém um material de zinco particulado, o qual apresenta um tamanho de cristalito menor que 600 . A presente invenção consiste, ainda, em uma composição de xampu contendo uma quantidade eficaz de um tensoativo, uma quantidade eficaz de um material de zinco particulado, uma quantidade eficaz de um sal metálico de piritiona e uma quantidade eficaz de um agente de suspensão, sendo que o dito material de zinco particulado tem um tamanho de cristalito menor que 600 .
