"VÁLVULA EXPANSORA COM MECANISMO A MOLA PARA CONTROLAR AS CONTRA EXPLOSÕES PROVOCADAS NO MOTOR E QUE SE TRANSMITEM AO COLETOR DE ADMISSÃO E TAMPA DO FILTRO DE AR, APLICADA EM MOTORES A GASOLINA, GÁS NATURAL COMPRIMIDO, GÁS LIQUIDIFICADO (GNC/GLP)". Destinado a ser montado no conduto principal de alimentação de ar ou ar e gás, com um corpo principal (6) substancialmente simétrico em relação ao eixo longitudinal com uma concavidade no seu interior, vários orifícios passantes laterais, orifícios passantes na sua parte plana (7) por onde se escapam os gases no momento da contra explosão, e um orifício central guia (8) com pescoço flexível (12) que fecha sobre um corpo postiço perfurado (13); dita válvula interior é empurrada por uma mola cônica (14) para que feche na sua base e duas orelhas planas laterais (15) perfuradas(16) para sujeitá-la
