Que corresponde a um leitor de etiquetas inteligentes (smart labels) ligado por um sistema de computador a uma balança com a finalidade de conferência do peso e dotado ainda de um balcão que verifica as corretas informações e possibilita checagem e correção de uma eventual discrepância, de maneira que se possa efetuar um processo de compra em supermercado ou similar verificando se o peso estimado pelo somatório das etiquetas inteligentes corresponde ao peso real medido já descontado o peso (tara) do carrinho ou cesta.
