A presente invenção se refere a um dispositivo e método para conectar fios que inclui um bastão condutivo tendo uma primeira abertura para inserir um condutor de um fio e uma cobertura de isolamento recobrindo uma porção do bastão condutivo, a cobertura de isolamento tendo uma segunda abertura através da qual o condutor contata o bastão condutivo.
