Abstract

"FERRAMENTA PARA AGARRAR UM TUBO OU HASTE". Uma ferramenta para agarrar a superfície circunferente externa de um tubo ou haste (11) e compreendendo um par de sapatas arqueadas diametralmente opostas (10) cada uma com uma gaiola de bilhas (14) tendo uma pluralidade de bilhas retidas pela gaiola. As sapatas (10) têm superfícies em rampa sobre as quais as bilhas correrão de forma que quando as sapatas (10) são giradas em torno do eixo geométrico longitudinal central do tubo ou haste (11) as bilhas tornam-se aprisionadas entre as superfícies em rampa (18) e a superfície do tubo ou haste, para agarrar a mesma. A rotação no sentido inverso libera a ferramenta. A ação rolante imposta pelas bilhas (15) sobre o tubo ou haste (11), enquanto exercendo uma ação de preensão sobre a mesma, evita a criação de arestas agudas sobre a superfície do tubo ou haste assim auxiliando a prevenir corrosão.
