A presente invenção refere-se a aparelho para tratamento de água residual, incluindo um tanque (91) que apresenta duas zonas distintas em que corrente de gás poderá ser controlada independentemente, dispositivos de alimentação de gás (92), fonte de gás (93), dispositivos reguladores de corrente de gás (90), coifa de coleta de gás (100) e linha de amostragem de gás (122), e a métodos para utilização do aparelho.
