Em um aspecto o meio de proteção inclui uma portadora dielétrica porosa, um agente ativo incorporado na portadora dielétrica porosa, e uma carga eletrostática através de pelo menos uma porção da portadora dielétrica porosa. o presente meio inovador é capaz de erradicar microorganismos e/ou toxinas de forma mais eficiente do que soluções da técnica anterior e também pode ser de auto-esterilização.
