"EMULSÃO POSSUINDO UMA FASE INTERNA E UMA FASE EXTERNA E FLUIDO HETEROGÊNEO ESTRUTURADO". Emulsões ou água em óleo ou óleo em água podem ser formadas mediante combinar um componente aquoso, um componente não-aquoso e um tensoativo em combinação com fibras. As fibras reduzem o tempo e a energia requerida para formar a emulsão e, em alguns casos, permite a formação de emulsão que não seria possível com o uso tais fibras.
