Composições que compreendem uma mistura de ácidos graxos ou derivados dos mesmos derivados a partir de secreções das glândulas uropigeais de aves são expostos. Esta composição, denominada um feromônio que acalma aves, pode ser usada para diminuir o estresse, a ansiedade e a agressividade em aves.
