Abstract
MATERIAL DE CARBONO CONDUTOR DE PRÓTONS A presente invenção fornece métodos para a incorporação de grupos funcionais sulfonato sobre a superfície de materiais carbonáceos particulados, e fornece várias composições de materiais carbonáceos com superfície modificada, resultantes deles. A composição pode compreender ainda um polímero condutor. A composição pode compreender ainda um metal. Dispositivos que compreendem a composição podem ser construídos incluindo eletrocatalisadores sobre suporte, conjuntos de eletrodos de membrana, e células de combustível. Um método para preparar a composição compreende sulfonar o material carbonáceo particulado. O método pode compreender ainda metalizar o material carbonáceo sulfonado.
