Abstract

"VÁLVULA DE ESTRANGULAMENTO". A válvula (2) possui um corpo (4) definindo uma entrada de fluxo (6), uma saída de fluxo (8) e uma câmara de válvula (10); uma mola espiral de compressão (24) está contida dentro da câmara (10) e suas molas (32) dividem a entrada (6) a partir da saída (8); uma extremidade da mola (24) é assentada contra um bloco de reação (20) e uma haste atuadora (16) que se prolonga para dentro da câmara de válvula (10) se apóia sobre o bloco, possibilitando que a mesma seja baixada ou elevada; esta medida faz com que o tamanho dos vãos helicoidais (34) entre as espirais (32) da mola seja alterado, o que ajusta o fluxo de fluido através da válvula.
