Alcoxilatos da fórmula geral (I) C~ 5~H~ 11~CH(C~ 3~H~ 7~)CH~ 2~O(A)~ n~(CH~ 2~CH~ 2~O)~ m~H, em que: A representa propilenóxi, butenóxi ou pentenóxi, n representa um número na faixa de 1 a 8, m representa um número na faixa de 2 a 20, são usados como emulsificantes, reguladores de espuma e como agentes de umedecimento para superfícies duras.
