Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR 3-TRIFLUOROMETILFENIL 4-CIANOBENZIL CETONA". A invenção diz respeito a um método para produzir a 3-trifluorometilfenil-4-cianobenzil cetona reagindo-se um alquil-C~ 1~-C~ 2~ éster do ácido 3-trifluorometilbenzóico com 4-tolunitrila em um solvente polar aprótico ou em uma mistura de solvente polar aprótico na presença de pelo menos uma quantidade equimolar de uma base, por meio do que a base é selecionada entre os alcoolatos de potássio de alcanóis C~ 1~-C~ 4~ primários.
