Abstract

"MÉTODO E APARELHO PARA INTRODUZIR COMBUSTIVEL. EM UMA CÂMARA DE COMBUSTÃO DE UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTÃO INTERNA". Um método e um aparelho para injetar um combustível em uma câmara de combustão de um motor de combustão interna emprega uma combinação de modos operacionais. Primeiro, um de um modo operacional de baixa carga e de alta carga é selecionado durante operação do motor de combustão interna. Os modos de baixa carga e de alta carga são distinguidos pelas características de combustão de uma quantidade de combustível gasoso fumigado adicionada à câmara de combustão. Combustível fumigado que suporta combustão fará com que alta carga seja selecionada. Combustível fumigado que não suporta combustão fará com que baixa carga seja selecionada. Uma quantidade de combustível diretamente injetada é provida sob baixa carga. Sob alta carga, uma quantidade de combustível diretamente injetada pode ser adicionada quando o pistão estiver próximo ao ponto morto superior para permitir que o motor satisfaça requisitos de carga acima do provido pelo combustível fumigado.
