"PSEUDOPOLIMORFOS ISOESTRUTURAIS DE 9-DEOXO-9A-AZA-9A-METIL-9A-HOMOERITROMICINA A E SEUS USOS". Os pseudopolimorfos isoestrutural substancialmente puro de 9-deoxo-9a-aza-9a-metil-9a-homoeritromicina A tendo a fórmula I: onde S é um solvente orgânico que é pelo menos parcialmente miscível com água, x é 1, 1,25, 1,5 ou 2, y é 0, 0,5, ou 1, o pseudopolimorfo sendo caracterizado pelo grupo espacial monocíclico P21 e os parâmetros médios da unidade celular: comprimento do eixo cristal a = 15,5 - 17,0 A, b = 15,5 - 17,0 A, e c = 17,5 19,5 A, e os ângulos entre os eixos cristais de ( = 90 e 106 - 112 . Em adição, esta descrição está direcionada aos processos para a preparação dos pseudopolimorfos isoestruturais substancialmente puro da fórmula I; as composições farmacêuticas contendo os pseudopolimorfos isoestruturais substancialmente puro da fórmula I; e ao método para tratamento de infecções bacterianas ou protozoárias, e as doenças inflamatórias relacionadas através da administração de uma composição farmacêutica contendo o pseudopolimorfo isoestrutural substancialmente puro da fórmula I.
