Abstract

"SELO PARA UNIÕES ROSCADAS DE TUBULAÇÕES". Selo para uniões roscadas de tubulações realizadas com tubos com rosca externa unidos por roscas fêmeas com rosca interna, sendo que o selo está constituído de uma luva essencialmente cilíndrica de material elastomérico, caracterizada por ter a superfície externa da luva em ao menos parte de seu comprimento uma rosca complementar da rosca interna da rosca fêmea. A luva pode estar prolongada em ambos os extremos por respectivos lábios de selagem. O selo é utilizado preferentemente nas uniões de tubulações para a condução de fluidos, principalmente de fluídos agressivos, hidrocarbonetos e seus derivados e similares.
