Abstract

"QUITINASE DE CARRAPATO". A presente invenção refere-se a uma nova quitinase, um polinucleotídeo codificando a mesma, um vetor e transformante compreendendo o polinucleotídeo, um anticorpo contra a quitinase e um processo de classificação para classificar a substância capaz de modificar a quitinase que são descritos. De acordo com a quitinase, polinucleotídeo ou vetor, é possível, por exemplo, exterminar carrapatos, tratar ou prevenir infecções transmitidas pelos carrapatos, tais como, piroplasmose, febre Q ou encefalite virótica.
